Vigour (2022)

Synopsis.

After meddling with a foolish way to restore his youth, an old doctor accidently grants his own furniture a twisted semblance of life as the effects of his experiment run wild around him.

Created as a graduation film, Vigour was created as a response to the side effects of some incorrectly prescribed anti-biotics.

The film was animated on TVpaint with lighting and editing done on Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. Backgrounds and concept work was done on Adobe Photoshop

Sisyphus Rex (2021)

Synopsis.

A masked man pushes a grand boulder to the peak of a long forlorn mountain, strewn with the ruins of the past and haunted by an ever nearing spectre.

Based loosely on the Ancient Greek Sisyphus, getting the isolationist atmosphere and environmental storytelling of the film was key.

The film was animated on TVpaint with lighting and editing done on Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. Backgrounds and concept work was done on Adobe Photoshop

Croak (2021)

Synopsis.

A young man takes one wrong step on his way home through the park. Furious at his transgression, the frogs pursue.

The Film was inspired by a midnight journey through a park on my way home. It has just rained and in the torchlight hundreds of frogs seemed to litter the path making it incredibly hard to walk.

The film was animated on TVpaint with lighting and editing done on Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. Backgrounds and concept work was done on Adobe Photoshop

CATTs Moles Advert (2021)

Synopsis.

A collaborative project creating an advert for the CATTs Charity, in which I was the director. The aim of the project was to highlight the signs of potentially cancerous moles and promote general of the issue.

The film was animated using puppet animation on Adobe After Effects with each model made using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Rigs were made in Duikk.
For this film, I acted as Director, lead animator and assistant producer.

Surrey Hills and Rivers (2023)

Synopsis.

A puppy leaves his cluttered life for the countryside, which he quickly comes to care about greatly. He rediscovers a deep satisfaction from resolving his basic needs, in the context of a physically and socially rewarding adventure.
